Proverbs 31

Those in authority shall not drink for they might alter the law for those accused. For if they let a guilty man go then he will kill twice as much. And if they kill an innocent personp people will riot.

How to make a Temperature graph

First you want to put the Temperature on the left side using every other line. On the bottom you will have every other day on every other line. Once you are a few days into it you can start making a line between the dots.

Harvesting Rain Water

We had a storm last night. It lasted at least 3 hours. Almost the whole container was full. The water was clear and tasted great. It could possibly last at least a day or two. Hope it keeps on raining!!

Proverbs 23:1-6

Do not eat with him that speaks evil. Nor should you speak to him for he will corrupt you with his sly tongue.

I begin to realize that this speaks of my entire generation. Even me. I begin to catch myself speaking in ways I should not and correcting myself. If everybody worked on that the world might be better than it is now with riots, wars and everything in between. I have cried any time I think of people I love that I have spoken to in such a way and realize that I am a major contributor to the pain in this world.

Weather after light rainfall

Today it was 90° after it rained for about ten minutes. Now normally you would think it would be cooler than before, but instead just the opposite happens. It gets hotter. It gets more humid. What do you think??

Proverbs 19:1&2

It is better to be poor and pure than be rich and perverse. Poor people usually only care about survival, where the rich think that they can do as they please.

Integrity is telling the truth, obeying God in every way, and not breaking His laws.

These verses relate to me because I was not doing what God wanted and I was punished.

Replacing Nicholas' bedding

I changed my hamsters bedding. It is very hard to find the perfect type of bedding. My hamster likes flowers to eat and sleep on. He will be noisy all night now.

Rain water

I collected and filtered my rain water today. In order to get all the water you have to bail it out into a container. It had a grasshopper and leaves in it that I had to scoop out but it tastes great.

Make sure to run it through a Brita™ filter. My Mom says, "It makes really good coffee. Better than tap water." I agree with that statement. Do you??

Preparing for my Final Exam in Bible

When you think God has left you behind you might think that your life is over but God has more plans for you. Never give up on yourself because he will never give up on you.

Day 194/365

Proverbs 12:1-6

[1]Whoso loueth instruction, loueth knowledge: but he that hateth reproofe, is brutish.
[2]A good man obtaineth fauour of the Lord: but a man of wicked deuices will he condemne.
[3]A man shall not bee established by wickednesse: but the roote of the righteous shall not be mooued.
[4]A vertuous woman is a crowne to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed, is as rottennesse in his bones.
[5]The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.
[6]The words of the wicked are to lie in waite for blood: but the mouth of the vpright shall deliuer them.

Be good to your wife and she shall be a crown on your head. Make her ashamed and she will be a thorn in your side. Have you been good to your wife??

Proverbs 10:1-32

[1]The Prouerbes of Solomon: A wise sonne maketh a glad father: but a foolish sonne is the heauinesse of his mother.
> [2]Treasures of wickednesse profit nothing: but righteousnes deliuereth from death.
> [3]The Lord will not suffer the soule of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.
> [4]Hee becommeth poore that dealeth with a slacke hand: but the hand of the diligent, maketh rich.
> [5]Hee that gathereth in Summer, is a wise sonne: but hee that sleepeth in haruest, is a sonne that causeth shame.
> [6]Blessings are vpon the head of the iust: but violence couereth the mouth of the wicked.
> [7]The memorie of the iust is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.
> [8]The wise in heart will receiue commaundements: but a prating foole shall fall.
> [9]He that walketh vprightly, walketh surely: but he that peruerteth his wayes, shalbe knowen.
> [10]Hee that winketh with the eye, causeth sorrow: but a prating foole shall fall.
> [11]The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence couereth the mouth of the wicked.
> [12]Hatred stirreth vp strifes: but loue couereth all sinnes.
> [13]In the lips of him that hath vnderstanding, wisedome is found: but a rod is for the backe of him that is voyd of vnderstanding.
> [14]Wise men lay vp knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is neere destruction.
> [15]The rich mans wealth is his strong citie: the destruction of the poore is their pouertie.
> [16]The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruite of the wicked to sinne.
> [17]He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but hee that refuseth reproofe, erreth.
> [18]Hee that hideth hatred with lying lippes, and he that vttereth a slander, is a foole.
> [19]In the multitude of words there wanteth not sinne: but he that refraineth his lippes, is wise.
> [20]The tongue of the iust is as choise siluer: the heart of the wicked is little worth.
> [21]The lippes of the righteous feed many: but fooles die for want of wisedome.
> [22]The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and hee addeth no sorrow with it.
> [23]It is as a sport to a foole to doe mischiefe: but a man of vnderstanding hath wisedome.
> [24]The feare of the wicked, it shall come vpon him: but the desire of the righteous shalbe granted.
> [25]As the whirlewinde passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an euerlasting foundation.
> [26]As vineger to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him.
> [27]The feare of the Lord prolongeth dayes: but the yeeres of the wicked shalbe shortened.
> [28]The hope of the righteous shall bee gladnesse: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.
> [29]The way of the Lord is strength to the vpright: but destruction shall bee to the workers of iniquitie.
> [30]The righteous shall neuer bee remooued: but the wicked shall not inhabite the earth.
> [31]The mouth of the iust bringeth foorth wisedome: but the froward tongue shalbe cut out.
> [32]The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardnesse.
>
> He who does not work will be poor, but he who works shall be rich. So those who think they are too good to work will be poor. Those who work will be rich.

Collecting Natural Food for My Son

Today I collected some Queen Anne's lace, grape leaves, and tulip leaves. Nicholas ate a bit of all of it. Then he acted hyper and I took him out and let him crawl on my arms and hands. Now he is going back to bed until later tonight.

Proverbs 8:"1-36"

[1]Doeth not Wisedome crie? & Understanding put foorth her voice?
[2]Shee standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the pathes.
[3]She cryeth at the gates, at the entrie of the citie, at the comming in at the doores.
[4]Unto you, O men, I call, and my voice is to the sonnes of man.
[5]O yee simple, vnderstand wisedome: and yee fooles, be yee of an vnderstanding heart.
[6]Heare, for I will speake of excellent things: and the opening of my lippes shalbe right things.
[7]For my mouth shall speake truth, and wickednesse is an abomination to my lippes.
[8]All the words of my mouth are in righteousnes, there is nothing froward or peruerse in them.
[9]They are all plaine to him that vnderstandeth: and right to them that find knowledge.
[10]Receiue my instruction, and not siluer: and knowledge rather then choise gold.
[11]For wisedome is better then rubies: and all the things that may be desired, are not to be compared to it.
[12]I wisedome dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inuentions.
[13]The feare of the Lord is to hate euill: pride and arrogancie, and the euill way, and the froward mouth doe I hate.
[14]Counsell is mine, and sound wisedome: I am vnderstanding, I haue strength.
[15]By me kings reigne, and princes decree iustice.
[16]By me Princes rule, and Nobles, euen all the Iudges of the earth.
[17]I loue them that loue me, and those that seeke me early, shall find me.
[18]Riches and honour are with me, yea durable riches and righteousnesse.
[19]My fruite is better then gold, yea then fine gold, and my reuenue then choise siluer.
[20]I leade in the way of righteousnesse, in the midst of the pathes of iudgment.
[21]That I may cause those that loue me, to inherite substance: and I will fill their treasures.
[22]The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
[23]I was set vp from euerlasting, from the beginning, or euer the earth was.
[24]When there were no depthes, I was brought forth: when there were no fountaines abounding with water.
[25]Before the mountaines were setled: before the hilles, was I brought foorth:
[26]While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
[27]When hee prepared the heauens, I was there: when he set a compasse vpon the face of the depth.
[28]When he established the cloudes aboue: when he strengthned the fountaines of the deepe.
[29]When he gaue to the sea his decree, that the waters should not passe his commandement: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
[30]Then I was by him, as one brought vp with him: and I was daily his delight, reioycing alwayes before him:
[31]Reioycing in the habitable part of his earth, and my delights were with the sonnes of men.
[32]Nowe therefore hearken vnto me, O yee children: for blessed are they that keepe my wayes.
[33]Heare instruction, and bee wise, and refuse it not.
[34]Blessed is the man that heareth me: watching daily at my gates, waiting at the postes of my doores.
[35]For whoso findeth mee, findeth life, and shall obtaine fauour of the Lord.
[36]But hee that sinneth against me, wrongeth his owne soule; all they that hate me, loue death.

You should not listen to those who speak of money but to those who speak of wisdom. For if you listen to money you shall receive death.

My Bible Work

I was reading about a Senior's last year in high school. He said that God wanted him to start being a public speaker. He said no and until he started speaking his grades were terrible. When he started he said he felt powerful. I understand how he felt. God wanted me to get people to go to church with me and I refused. After I gave in I felt like I could move worlds. What does God want you to do in your life??

Evil cats

So, I set up a bin to collect water. I collected 1 1/2 inches of water from one storm. I think that that is just enough for me to drink for an hour. The cats decided to spray it to claim it as their own. Now I am spraying with bleach to get rid of the smell. Time to start over.

My First Time Using a Rodder

Yesterday was my first time using a toilet rodder. I am happy that my Sister let me borrow it. I now know how to rod a toilet in the future. It was pretty gross but it worked out great. I recommend that you buy one in case of your toilet getting plugged up.

The Road to Heaven

The road to heaven is not always what you expect, but is very wonderful once you find it. It is not always what you want to believe but what might save you in eternity.

My Copy Work for Today

1611 KJV. Proverbs 2:1-4
"[1]My sonne, if thou wilt receiue my words, and hide my commaundements with thee;
[2]So that thou incline thine eare vnto wisedome, and apply thine heart to vnderstanding:
[3]Yea if thou cryest after knowledge, and liftest vp thy voyce for vnderstanding:
[4]If thou seekest her as siluer, and searchest for her, as for hid treasures:"

Copy work is required so that you don't memorize, but remember for years to come. If you do it correctly then it will work.

The old Joliet Men's Prison

Imagine what it would be like to live in the men's prison if you bought it. Sure it may have angry spirits at first, but after months of work on it, they will probably go away or be peaceful. You could set it up as a hotel or as an amusement park. What do you think??

Ya gotta wanna

When Mr. Smith was in high school they had a very good basketball team. Their football team was not so good. So the school hired a new football coach. He made up a motto at a pep rally on a poster and buttons that said "you gotta wanna". That is the kind of enthusiasm you need when praising the Lord.

How do you praise the Lord??

Bloody Mary

Have you ever wondered where Bloody Mary comes from?? Legends?? It actually comes from England in 1553. Mary was daughter of Catherine of Aragon. When her father, Henry VIII, died she took the throne. She turned from her father's way of persuasion to execution of Protestants. That earned her the title of "Bloody Mary". She died of a tumor in 1558.
