Wow! A beautiful, warm (44*F) day and the sun stayed up until almost 6:00pm!!!
Shangri-La was ready to be cleaned so Matt and I headed over and got to work. An hour of exploring and cleaning and feeling so very at home . . .
Yes, we've named our new home Shangri-La. .
Why?
Well, in watching "Faith Like Potatoes" I recalled the wife naming their seriously tiny (maybe 10-15') camper Shalom even though they were a family of four (4) crammed into it . . . .
They were grateful for a new life and a place to live . . .
And, as Matt and I begin our new life in our 30' camper we are equally grateful and truly enjoying this new adventure . . . God has blessed us (as this opportunity truly is a blessing from God) with a new home in the middle of a forest preserve . . . this new home has the feel and sounds of the years I lived on the edge of the Allegheny Forest in Bradford, Pennsylvania so is pure therapy in and of itself. . . .
And we try to decide, when this adventure is finished in a year or two (2), will we move on to time as vagabonds in an RV or on a boat?
Only time will tell what great adventure this current one is training us for!!!!!!
