How can this billboard still stand after having a tree fall on it

An icy morning It finally started snowing this morning and as I got ready to head on to my first of many adventures, I thought I heard a vehicle slide down the hill. Knowing this I took my adventure the other direction, avoiding the mistake of the previous person.
