Homelessness In Joliet Part 2

Still no one has done anything about the homeless in Joliet. Aren't they as important as everyone else? And why are the veterans in tents or on doorsteps instead of in a house?

I think no one cares anymore about anyone else unless they get something in return. I don't know what to think anymore about this topic unless gets off their lazy butt and does something for once.

I don't just want to keep telling everyone about it and have no affect. If no one does anything then I will. In fact I already have done a lot to help.I've donated food to Morningstar mission. I've served food at Morningstar. I've had people taking what I try to donate for themselves.

Lets help them now so they can give back.

Townhouse Motel

The Townhouse still looks bad. I wonder if the city just doesn't care anymore. The windows are still broken and there is still trash out back. I wonder if they are storing the trash for later?

I wish they would clean it up. Maybe they like putting poor people in substandard housing. Or maybe they don't keep up on it at all.

They still haven't trimmed the yard. I wonder if they are waiting for someone to crash before they have to finally cut it? When you go to turn you have to pull into the street to see. I hope they cut it soon.

My mom had me read this and I am going to write it differently on the bottom.
Love is something that can't be faked. But if you do then someone will probably be hurt. So if you really care about that person don't hide anything that you plan.


My mom had me reread it differently with every time it says "love" you put "I am" and ask yourself are you doing this correctly?

Really Cool Old Mansion at 609 E Cass St

This property has a lot of potential.

I would like to see it used as an apartment building or a rooming house.

There are homeless people who have set up a home on the front porch and in the building out back.

I wonder why no one has told them to leave yet. Last time I went by there were two guys smoking weed on the front porch.

The property just needs some t.l.c. and it will look like new.

I hope it gets cleaned up instead of torn down.

It would make me sad to see another historic building torn down.

Really cool old mansion at 609 Cass St

This is a awesome old mansion that was created in 1887.

It was the George and Edwin house.

The house is Queen Anne style (one of the finest Helmut domes in Joliet and has an embossed metal roof.)

I think that it could be used as a rooming house or an apartment building.

It would be nice if someone finally bought it and fixed it up.
